After visiting both Valley of the Kings and of the Queens it's time to rest a bit and enjoy our next lodgings, on board of a luxurious Nile cruise ship. Check in, welcome drink (exotic fruit juice) and buffet lunch, with local beer!
After lunch and hardly any time to rest, as it's time to visit Karnak. This huge complex is mainly the temple of Amun-Ra, the main god in the New Kingdom, but with multiple chapels to other gods. Shrine of Seti II, with chapels of Khonsu, Amun and Mut. Hatshepsut's Red Chapel. Great Hypostyle Hall. Hatshepsut's Obelisks. Sacred Barque Sanctuary. Sacred Lake and Giant Scarab.
