From our luxurious hotel in Luxor (the Steigenberger Nile Palace Hotel) we leave early in the morning (and earlier every day) towards Dendara, where we are going to visit the Ptolemaic temple of Hathor. The cult of Hathor is one of the oldest in Egypt.
This beautiful temple holds many wonders, of which the pictures will talk more eloquently than I would. Only to remark the several secret rooms found hidden in the walls or under the floors, the mysterious images of the light bulbs, the zodiacal roof and the only image of Cleopatra VII.
After Dendara, we will head for Abydos.
