First day in Lisbon
Our flight arrived punctually to Lisbon, and using the newly (since my last visit at least) inaugurated metro, we went to out hotel by Rossio to drop our luggage and start sightseeing.
A visit to Lisbon cannot start in any other place but the Prac,a do Comercio and surrounding streets, after which, a hearty lunch in Rua Bacalhaoeiros prepared us to be able to climb the neighbourhoods of Castelho and Alfama.
Taking the 28 tram (like any other tourist) to Miradouro da Senhora du Monte and working our way down, exploring narrow streets, and alleys, punctuated by other miradouros with sights towards the city or the river.
On the way down, we found out that that evening there was an interesting Fado concert at the Chapito Art Center, so we decided to come again in the evening to have dinner there and enjoy this characteristic portuguese music.
